The Najran Museum features a groundbreaking Parametric GRC profile panel system built by STATION. Each massive panel measures 10 x 4 x 3 meters and boasts a complex bi-axial curved shape. The cladding is manufactured from high mechanical properties G.R.C., supported by a sophisticated structural steel system matching a 3-axis space concrete diaphragm.
Designed to achieve a contemporary stylish cladding, structural bonded glass windows are seamlessly built into the facade. Notably, each panel has no repetitive geometric profile, allowing the panel path motion to move freely.
This stands as the first parametric facade in Saudi Arabia manufactured by a local company using state-of-the-art CNC processing. Thanks to advanced laser scanning and multi-function CNC machinery, Station reached an exceptional accuracy of 20 microns.
